Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Contact and quote forms: the name, email and phone (if given), ZIP and message you send us.
• Orders and plans: what you bought, when, and the amount. Stripe processes payment. We never see or store your card number.
• Job brief: service address, how we get in, pets, photo link, preferred days, lawn notes. Please don’t enter gate codes, lock codes or passwords. We’ll ask for access details when we schedule.
• Server logs: a shortened, scrambled version of your IP address for spam control, with the date and what you used. No names, emails or message text.

What we don’t

• No advertising pixels or analytics in this first version.
• The yard estimator runs in your browser. It sends nothing to us.
• Your cart is saved in your browser, on your device. It isn’t sent to us until you check out.
• We don’t sell your information.
• The site isn’t aimed at children under 13.

How we use it

To answer you, schedule and do the work, bill you, keep records, and stop spam. That’s it.

Who else handles it

Stripe (payments), our hosting provider and our email service. They handle your data only to provide those services.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries (contact and quote): 24 months
• Orders and invoices: 7 years
• Job brief and access notes: 90 days after the job
• Consent records for monthly plans: 3 years
• Server logs: 30 days

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we have about you. Email help@danlandscape.com. We believe the Louisiana Data Privacy Act’s thresholds don’t apply to us; we honor access, correction and deletion requests anyway. We may have to keep some order records for tax and legal reasons.

If something goes wrong

If personal information is exposed, we’ll notify you as Louisiana law requires (R.S. 51:3071 et seq.).

We’ll update this page and the date at the top when something changes.
