What happens after you pay
Short version: you tell us where the yard is, we text you a date, we show up, we tidy up behind ourselves.
The year, this month marked
We text a date
One-time package
A package, start to finish
You order. Pick your package, pay with Stripe. We never see your card number.
You send the job brief. Right after payment. It's a short form: address, how we get in, pets, photos, which days suit you.
We text a date. Usually within one to two business days of your brief.
Day before, and the morning of. Two texts. If anything shifts, you'll hear it from us.
The visit. We do what the package says, haul what it says, and blow the hard surfaces.
Done. We text when we leave.
Typical timing
Typical timing from your brief:
Weather and the sod season can stretch these. We'll tell you.
Monthly plan
A plan, start to finish
Weekly mow, month by month
- –No visit
- LLeaf cleanup
- EEvery other week
- WWeekly
Your first month
You subscribe, we send the onboarding brief, and we text you the first visit date. Mowing plans start as soon as the season and the schedule allow.
If you subscribe in December, January or February, your first month includes only a cleanup visit. Mowing starts in March.
A normal month
We come on your regular day, give or take the weather. You get a text the day before. We mow, edge, string-trim and blow. If it rains, we move to the next dry day. No charge changes.
Billing
Billed monthly until you cancel. Same price every month. Details on the Refunds & cancellation page.
The form
Why the brief comes after you pay
Because that's when you've decided. Before checkout, we'd be asking strangers for their address and where the dog sleeps.
After payment, we need a few things: the service address, how we get in, any pets, a link to photos if you have them, and which days work. That's it.
One rule: don't write lock or gate codes in the form. We'll ask when we schedule. The form will stop you if it sees a code.
You can fill it in later. If we haven't got it in a day, we'll email you a reminder.
If it rains
Rain and rescheduling
We move the visit to the next dry day, and the price doesn’t change. We say so by text, and you don’t have to do anything.
A shower isn’t a reason to skip. A soaked lawn, standing water or lightning is. After a named storm, give us a few days. The full policy is on the Refunds & cancellation page.
Your part
What we need from you
Put the hose away. Pick up the toys, the dog bowls, the flowerpots you love. Unlock the gate or tell us how to get in, and keep pets inside or secured on visit days. If you have a sprinkler head you're fond of, flag it.
Before sod removal or planting, we call 811 for public utility lines. Private lines (sprinklers, invisible fence, landscape lights, septic) are on you to tell us about.
New sod and plants need water after we leave. We'll send instructions, and the watering is yours.
Off the list
What we won't do
- Chemicals. No weed and feed, fungicide, insecticide or chinch bug treatment.
- Trees above 12 feet.
- Drainage, irrigation or hardscape. Not yet.
- Storm cleanup beyond the loads in your package. Past that, it’s a quote, and we may say no.
- Promise your grass or plants will live. We don’t guarantee growth.
- Come when the gate is locked or a loose dog is in the yard. We’ll skip that visit.
